LWA Young Windsurfer of the Year 2012 - Matt Barton receives his trophy from LWA Chairman Colin Flint.

NEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS:
Paul Robinson has retired as LWA Chairman and was replaced by Colin Flint at the AGM on Sat 16 Feb. Our thanks go to Paul for all the hard work he has put in over the years. We should like to welcome Colin to his new post and also welcome Jon Davis who is now Treasurer and Kerry Hastings who has joined the Committee.

HOT NEWS!!! The UK Raceboard Class is providing an inexpensive new opportunity for sailors growing out of the Techno Class who don’t wish to go Formula or RS:X. For National and LWA events  the 7.5 Raceboard Division sail size has now been raised to 7.8 to enable Techno sailors to try raceboard without the expense of new rigs. Used but competitive raceboards can be bought for just a couple of hundred pounds, a very cheap way to keep racing.

The LWA now has a Phantom Raceboard - so if you would like to borrow it for an event the cost is £10 for adults or £5 for Youth or Junior - bring your own rig! First come-first served - email us on info@LWAwindsurfing.co.uk
