Our Young Windsurfer of the Year 2011 - Galahad Wisbey, receives a cheque for £150 from LWA Chairman Paul Robinson at our Bewl Valley Icebreaker Event on Sat 5 Nov. Together with the cheque, which comes from several anonymous donors, there is also a splendid trophy which Galahad will hold for a year. A photo of him in action will also appear on the poster advertising the 2012 LWA Event Programme. |

HOT NEWS!!! The UK Raceboard Class is providing an inexpensive new opportunity for sailors growing out of the Techno Class who don’t wish to go Formula or RS:X. For National and LWA events the 7.5 Raceboard Division sail size has now been raised to 7.8 to enable Techno sailors to try raceboard without the expense of new rigs. Used but competitive raceboards can be bought for just a couple of hundred pounds, a very cheap way to keep racing. If you’d like to borrow a raceboard to use in an LWA event please email us and ask. |
