As the 3rd event in the LWA 2010 Icebreaker Series which was due to be held at Oxford on Sat 27 November had to be cancelled due to bad weather and no replacement event was arranged - as it turned out there was no wind at all on the following Saturday anyway - the cumulative positions at the end of Event 2 are now Final for the Series.
The Icebreaker Series finished with an overall win for the Farmoor Flyers who finished 7 points ahead of the Silicon Sisters headed by Rob Kent, third place was filled by “5 Go Sailing” somewhat further down the scoresheet, despite the valiant efforts of James Moon who took 3rd place overall behind a flying Adie Rippington. In the Juniors the Cheekies managed a 12 point win over the Killer Shrimps.
Icebreaker Prizes will now be awarded at the LWA Melting Pot Races and AGM which takes place at Queen Mary on Sat 5 March 2011.

2nd Overall: Adrian Rippington
3rd Overall: James Moon
1st Youth: Chris Guest (4th Overall but sailing a 9.5)
1st Lady: Annette Kent (10th Overall)
1st Techno: Matthew Barton (17th Overall)
1st Junior: Emily Kent ( 18th Overall)
